Husband killer is the daughter of ex-ICPC board nominee

Maryam Sanda's mum also used to be a former Executive Director (Retail), Aso Savings and Loan Plc, Abuja.

The true identity of Maryam Sanda, who allegedly killing her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, the son of the former PDP Chairman has been revealed.

Findings have revealed that the accused, who is standing trial for murder, is the biological daughter of ex-ICPC boss, Hajia Maimuna Aliyu.

Maryam Sanda's mum also used to be a former Executive Director (Retail), Aso Savings and Loan Plc, Abuja.

It was further gathered that while Maryam has been remanded in prison pending the court's verdict on the charges against her, her mum is currently in the eye of the storm over alleged squandering of N57million, being proceeds from the sale of the property belonging to the Aso Bank.

She is accused of selling plots of land belonging to the bank without remitting the proceeds accordingly hence, committing an offence contrary to Section 311 and punishable under Section 312 of the Penal Code Act Cap 532, Laws of the Northern Nigeria 1990.

While Maryam, a nursing mother is battling to save herself from getting a jail term, her mum is battling to save herself from the fraud allegation levelled against her.
